December Updates

Things are finally slowing down this semester with finals approaching in the next two weeks. Looking back over the past couple weeks, we have had a lot of fun. Our New Scholars hosted a philanthropy event and a House Trivia game. Their philanthropy event took place at Natalie's Second Chance shelter where they played with and walked dogs for a couple hours on Saturday morning. There are a lot of dogs who sometimes don't really get a chance to exercise and walk outside, so it was a nice, fun way to help out a local nonprofit organization.

The following day, the New Scholars created a Kahoot game that had questions regarding the Evans Scholarship. It was a fun way to bond over a game that most people played in grade school and high school.

This past weekend was the Purdue Christmas show, and we are lucky to have two of the performers in our House: Dante Bruno and Jeffery Schwind.

Multiple Scholars, friends and family attended the show and were really impressed with the whole performance.

Despite the actual football season being over for Purdue, we are playing Auburn in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 28, which will be a fun game to watch over winter break.

The last event that we have taking place this semester is the Sunday before finals week. Our advisors Bob and Leslie are bringing their dogs to have a bit of relaxation in preparation for finals.
