In the last few weeks, we had our Mother's Day at the Evans Scholarship House. We got to enjoy the company of the mothers of our fellow Scholars, as well as the enjoyment of all the delicious food they brought to share. Most recently, we had some of our Scholars participate in PUDM (Purdue University Dance Marathon), and be part of helping raise over $1 million for Riley Hospital for children.
With only three weeks left in the fall semester, our Scholars are working harder than ever to finish the semester on a strong note! As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, it gives us Scholars a lot to be grateful for.
We, as Evans Scholars, are grateful to our families for supporting us and helping us reach our goals. We, as Evans Scholars, are grateful for Chick Evans, for having believed in helping caddies attend college in order to pursue their dreams. We, as Evans Scholars, are grateful for the Evans Scholars family that we gain through the group unity and living at the Scholarship House. May we all count our blessings during the holidays, and may everyone enjoy the upcoming holidays!
