Scholars welcome alums back to campus for Alumni Day

Alumni Day had a huge turnout. Roughly, 100 Alumni attended this year from a various assortment of graduating classes. A majority of guests returned from the classes through the 1970s.

In addition to remembering the good times had at Purdue University, this year's Alumni Day was also the start of some new traditions. During the weekend, Alumni were paired up with current Scholars to play in the Oaken Bucket Golf Competition, a four man scramble event. There were two winners who tied at eleven under par.

The day after Alumni Day was the start of something new as well. There was a career-focused networking brunch where current Scholars and Alumni were able to mingle and discuss career endeavors and tips for future success.

It was a productive weekend filled with fun and laughter.
